Northamptonshire Police arrested three men yesterday, but this afternoon said they had now detained a total of four people, who were all assisting police with their inquiries.

Detective Inspector Lorraine Gordon said: “We are urging anyone in the area yesterday, who saw or heard anything suspicious, to let us know.”

Anyone with any information can call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Eyewitnesses told the Chron they saw police sprinting into the house, which neighbours said was lived in by four Eastern European men, on Thursday afternoon and then a man, who had apparently sustained face and head injuries, being given urgent medical treatment by paramedics on some grass outside.

Witness also saw three men being led outside separately, in handcuffs, by police.
