Boy knocked unconscious by man during attack in Northampton McDonald’s

A boy who accidentally bumped into a girl in a Northampton fast food restaurant was knocked out by her dad.

The 14-year-old was in the Sixfields branch of McDonald’s between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday, December 28, when he accidentally bumped into a young girl and knocked her over.

A police spokesman said: “In retaliation, the girl’s father punched the boy, knocking him unconscious and leaving him with a swollen nose, bruised eye, blurred vision and a bump on the back of the head.”

The attacker was white, in his mid to late twenties and between 6ft 1ins and 6ft 2ins. Northamptonshire Police said he had “slightly tanned” skin, short black hair and stubble. He was wearing jeans, trainers and either a grey or a blue hoodie.
