Biker seriously injured after Daventry crash


A biker suffered “serious” leg injuries after a crash near Daventry on Saturday morning.

The collision happened on the A361 Drayton Way, in Daventry, close to the reservoir.

Police say a blue Renault Megane, which was being driven by a 72-year-old man, and red Yamaha 125, being ridden by a 26-year-old man, crashed just before 6am.

The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious leg injuries.
