Mr Green said: “I know lots of people who have had their lives saved by the efforts of the air ambulance. As a film fanatic, horse lover and fan of the charity I thought holding an outdoor cinema evening would be the perfect way to raise money.
“The local air ambulance receives no government funding and relies totally on public donations to keep the lifesaving helicopters flying.”
The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance is scheduled to land at Winwick Hall before the entertainment starts and Bernie Keith will DJ a Seventies disco. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and best dancer.
