Appeal for witnesses after man allegedly punched in the face in Corby

The victim was walking through Thoroughsale Woods and came out onto Clydesdale Road, Corby, when he was allegedly punched several times by a man who initially asked him for a cigarette.

The assault is reported to have happened at about 5.15pm on Saturday, August 13.

A 25-year-old man from Corby was arrested on suspicion of assault and released with no further action
