Accident involving several vehicles on major Northamptonshire road

The A14 Northamptonshire westbound was blocked near junction 6 (Violet Lane, Kettering) as a result, with queuing traffic.

There is also congestion to junction 7 (A4300 Kettering).

Drivers are being advised to factor the delays into their journeys this morning.

An added consideration for Kettering motorists is that the A4300 Warren Hill in Kettering is closed between Gipsy Lane and the Haweswater Road junction, because of a further accident.

There is queuing traffic in both directions, including at one point from one end of Gipsy Lane to the other.
