A Northamptonshire man who confronted a gang who were drinking and throwing beer cans was knocked to the floor and attacked

A gang who were confronted by a man about their behaviour knocked him to the floor and assaulted him.

The 45-year-old man was assaulted in a garage/parking area in Prince Court, Princes Street in Kettering on Sunday.

The victim challenged a group of men who were drinking in the area and throwing beer cans onto the floor.

The men knocked the victim to the floor and assaulted him, leaving him with facial injuries during the incident which took place sometime between 5.45pm and 6pm.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident and who may have any information regarding it.

The offenders were three white men, in their 20s and one was wearing a hooded top. They are believed to have been speaking with Polish accents.
