A 14-year-old boy in Northampton suffered stab wounds after he was attacked in the Upton area of Northampton, Northamptonshire Police has confirmed.

The teenager was assaulted in Scribers Drive sometime between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said today that the boy managed to make his way to a friend’s house, where an ambulance was called.

The boy remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers are appealing witnesses or anyone with any information about the assault or those involved to call Northampton CID on 101.
