A new distillery that will provide own-brand alcoholic spirits is set to open next month.

The distillery will be located in Green Lane, Silverstone and will distil its own vodka and gin to begin with.

Dubbed the ‘spirit of British Motorsport’, the distillery will also offer gin and cocktail classes, as well as tours.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, an opening date has not yet been announced, but it is hoped to be next month.

The new venue will also include an event space for private parties, corporate hire and weddings.

Owner, Steve Hancock, said: “It goes without saying that we are really excited to be launching Silverstone’s first and only distillery.

“As knowledge of our opening has spread, we’ve seen just how supportive the locals can be and also how staunchly proud they are of the county they live in.

“It’s because of this passion and interest that we decided to launch the Silverstone Distillery Founders’ Club for those who wanted to be a vital part of our journey and also enjoy the additional benefits that being a founder brings.”

To celebrate the distillery’s imminent launch, the owners have launched a ledger for founding members to join, which will be a highly coveted membership with spaces strictly limited to 100.

The membership package will boast a raft of VIP benefits including a bottle of every new product for the entry of their membership, entry to special events discount for friends and family, branded merchandise and their name on a plaque on the distillery’s wall.
