Meet some of the babies born in Northampton during lockdown

Parents have shared adorable photos of their lockdown babies

As the whole county is in lockdown, NHS staff are still working hard looking after us all.

And midwives are no different.

Regardless of what is happening with the Covid-19 pandemic, maternity wards, including those at Northampton General Hospital, are still welcoming new life into the world on a daily basis.

Northampton Chronicle & Echo asked readers if any of them had welcomed a new born baby since the lockdown was introduced.

Around 50 people got in touch to tell us about their babies, share photos and praise the staff at NGH for their hard work.

Here are just a few of the babies who have been born in Northampton during the lockdown.
