Over £700 raised for local causes after Santa’s visit to Whittlebury Park

The money will go towards Towcester food bank and other community groups.

Santa Clause paid a visit to Whittlebury Park on Sunday December 20 to spread some Christmas magic and help raise money for local causes.

The family-friendly event took place outside following social distancing rules. Entertainment was provided by Allstars Variety School Northampton and the Rushden Town Band.

Over £700 was raised for the Towcester Rotary Club, which was made up of a donation from Whittebury Park as well was money collected on the day.

The money will go towards the local groups supported by the Rotary Club including Towcester Food Bank, Community Fridge, Men’s Minds Matter and St Lawrence Church Christmas food parcels.
