The concept car was designed and built by creative design agency L3, based in Silverstone, with a goal to let dogs know they're "part of the family."

It features a 360-degree dog shower, a blow dryer and an interior warm-air heater to pamper pooches after muddy walks.

Steve Comerford, CEO of L3, said: "The biggest challenge was ensuring there was a premium feel with interesting and practical components, without it being a gimmick.

"Our motto is 'passion for the impossible.' Lots of companies can make things beautiful but we want people to come to us when they have a really off-the-wall idea."

Other features include a dog bed for tired pups, a clip-in harness to secure canines in the vehicle and a slide-away ramp for easy boarding.

L3 was tasked to come up with a design that recognised dogs as an integral part of family life.

They found the biggest issue for dog owners was cleanliness, with muddy paws ruining interiors.

Mr Comerford said: "People have really loved the idea of a car that lets you wash your dog after a muddy walk.

"Dog owners want comfort for their pet and to think they are being pampered. So even the leather trim on the interior is from the guys at Bentley."

“In a short period, we designed and crafted this one of a kind vehicle that has components that dog owners across the world now want to have. We are thrilled with the success of this memorable project that demonstrates our commitment to powerful creativity and strong delivery. ”
