It is important to remember that confirmed cases rely on tests and the data from the ONS does not reveal how many tests have been carried out in each local authority.

It is possible that some areas with high numbers and rates of cases are testing more than other areas, and likewise it is possible that areas with lower numbers and rates have had fewer tests.

There have been a total of 1,128 confirmed positive tests in Northamptonshire, but the total number of tests carried out is not available.
