One in four Elizabeth Woodville School students get at least three A levels

More than half of all students at Elizabeth Woodville School in Roade obtained at least one A* or A grade, with 27 per cent gaining at least three.

Jez Bennett, Principal, said he was “delighted with the results which were a testament to the commitment to learning of all our students, staff and parents.”

He said: “The school’s very high standards have been maintained, with one of the highlights being 84 per cent of students obtaining an A*-C grade in English.”

Vanessa Lea, Associate Principal, said “We have a significant number of students have achieved many A* and A grades, but we are equally pleased to see that a wide range of our students, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, have achieved their potential. We look forward to working with many of them on the next stage of their learning.”
