“69 per cent of our students made expected progress in maths, which is also above last year’s national figure of 66 per cent and 30 per cent made more than expected progress.
“Under the new measure of Progress 8 (which measures student progress across their best 8 subjects) the school has achieved +0.1, which is significantly above the floor target of -0.5.
“We are also delighted with the results achieved by our disadvantaged (Pupil Premium) students; for the students achieving a C or above in both English and maths, the gap between them and their peers has closed by more than 20 per cent to 13.5 per cent.”
