The new Miller & Carter restaurant is set to open this Friday.

While the average cost of a meal at the new 120-seat Miller & Carter restaurant will be around £20, compared to the £5-a-head offers previously available at the Talavera Way venue, new manager Simone Assenza is expecting it to be a hit.

He said: "We will be aiming to cater for a very different kind of customer than the Toby Carvery brand, bringing a really different dining experience to Northampton."

"And it will be great to bring a premium brand to the area."

The new restaurant, situated next to a Travelodge will employ 70 people in total, though only two staff have been retained from the previous Toby Carvery, which is also owned bty Mitchells and Butler.
