'Hopes to enhance the parish as a whole': New homes officially opened near Northampton

The ribbon has been cut by councillors to officially open a new phase of a housing development on the outskirts of Northampton.
Judith Shephard from Northamptonshire County Council and John Shephard from Daventry District Council did the honours for Buckton Fields development last weekend.

Hide AdCllr Shephard said: “It is a pleasure to open this Bloor Homes development, which brings a range of quality homes to Northampton.
“This has come at a great time for Bloor Homes to deliver a lovely development which hopes to enhance not only the council but the parish as a whole.”
Phase one of Buckton Fields includes a range of detached and semi-detached two, three and four-bedroom homes, priced between £235,000 to £435,000.
Once complete, the 1,000-home development between Brampton Lane and Welford Road will have a primary school, a commercial area, open parkland and play spaces.
