Yelvertoft ladies take on Neil Simon's comedy The Odd Couple
The show, presented by Drama in Yelvertoft, takes place at 7.30pm on Friday April 29 and Saturday April 30 at Yelvertoft Village Hall.
The original play, made famous by the 1968 film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, was rewritten by the playwright in 1986 for a predominantly female cast.

Hide AdInstead of the poker nights that set the backdrop for the meet ups for six good friends, Olive Madison (Julie Cottle) hosts the weekly Trivial Pursuits evenings.
When Florence Unger’s (Laura Hopwood) marriage breaks down it is Olive who steps in to provide her with somewhere to stay, but the highly strung Flo and self-confessed slob Olive may soon find that being a friend is very different from being a flatmate. The Pidgeon sisters from the original version who come round for a date have been replaced by the Spanish Costazuela brothers, but the hare-brained humour remains the same.
Tickets cost£7.50 and are available by calling 01788 822 072. There will be a raffle and licensed bar available. Seating is open and doors will be open at 7pm.
