Rally celebrates 30 years of rural steam at Hollowell show

A steam and heavy horse show is marking 30 years at this year's event.

Hollowell Steam and Heavy Horse Show will see a wide variety of attractions for the entire family on Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3.

There will be an all Allchin section in the show.

The Allchin steam traction engine was built in Northampton at their South Bridge factory and organisers are hoping to have 17 of only 20 Allchins left in the country on show , with lots of Allchin memorabilia in a special tent.

There will be hevay horses, steam engines, vintage vehicles, auction, traders with different stalls and steam engines.

There is also live music taking place from a number of local bands taking place over the two days.

Adults entrance is £10. It is £8 for OAPs and £5 for children aged five to 16.

It’s free for under fives.
