Northampton teenage sex offender ordered into rehab programme as alternative to jail
A Northampton teenager who pleaded guilty to several counts of rape has been committed to a regime of rehabilitation programmes as an alternative to prison.
The 15-year-old youth - who cannot be identified due to his age - pleaded guilty to a series of sexual assaults that took place over 2020.

Hide AdAt Northampton Crown Court yesterday, Her Honour Judge Rebecca Crane ruled the boy was suitable for a young sex offender rehabilitation programme instead of being committed to prison.
It includes a 24-month rehabilitation order, a two year requirement with the AIM3 youth sex offenders programme, supervision and a direction to live under the care of the Local Authority.
He was also barred from working with children and vulnerable adults and handed a sexual harm prevention order.
