Social enterprise urges people to keep supporting local businesses

The Good Loaf in Northampton says it has been blown away by the amount of support from the public during the coronavirus lockdown.

Posting on its social media account, the Good Loaf says it has sold more than 16,000 items online through its website.

"Just saying a huge thank you to the fine people of #Northampton who have continued to support us through our online shop - you have bought: 10,600 loaves, 2,220 cakes, 1,400 milk, 990 dz eggs, 450 bags flour, 260 jams/chutneys, 218 blocks of cheese, 110 mayo and dressings, and 30 bags coffee.
