Mr Parnell took the pictures of the disagreement at Riverside which ended with police being called to settle the dispute.
Mr Purnell said: "The driver of the car seemed to have left enough space for the bus to get past, but the bus driver wasn't having any of it and wanted her to reverse.
"She obviously wasn't going to move, so they both just sat there, for 40 minutes."
