A highly rated theatre company is performing a show all about falling at The Stahl Theatre in Oundle next week.
Falling is being staged by Theatre Alibi on Tuesday March 22. The show has been written by Daniel Jamieson and directed by Nikki Sved.
What happens when terra firma isn’t firm at all…? It’s five o’clock on a weekday evening.
Claire and her teenage daughter Alice are making tea. Alice pops out to fetch some apples from the shed. But in the blink of an eye she’s disappeared down a hole that’s suddenly yawned open on the lawn.
What happens when life swallows you whole and terror is only a heartbeat away?
Theatre Alibi combine powerful performance, projection, puppetry and a thrilling live soundscape to tell a raw and intimate story.
The Guardian described the theatre company as “having a reputation as terrific storytellers” and as “One of Britain’s most inventive companies.”
The show starts at 7.45pm and last for up to 90 minutes with no interval. Tickets cost between £10 and £12 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01832 273930 or visit www.stahltheatre.co.uk.
