Following his recent UK tour Billy Lockett make a brief return to Northampton at the weekend for an intimate show at a Northampton optometrists.
Lockett played tracks off his recent Burn It Down EP during a 30 minute set at Tompkins, Knight & Son Optometrists.
Practice owner Brian Tompkins said: “Billy has been a patient here since he was a child and it has been amazing to watch him grow up and become the talented performer he is today.
“It was an absolute privilege to have him play at the practice and if those songs are anything to go by then the album is going to be incredible.”
The audience was made up of patients and long-standing friends of the practice, plus the winners of a ticket giveaway on Facebook.
Lockett added: “I can’t believe there’s ever been many gigs held at an optometrists before and it was definitely a first for me.
“TK&S are known for being a bit different and this is proof of that.
“It’s an amazing building and I loved the chance to play in such a small, intimate venue.”
