New comedy aims to prove that silence is golden at the theatre

Crazy Glue
Crazy Glue

A silent comedic roller coaster telling the story of a couple’s romance comes to The Castle in Wellingborough next week.

Crazy Glue is to be performed on Wednesday at 7.45pm.

The duo have a car in the garage, a chicken in the pot and a child on the way. But is that enough to make true love stick?

Inspired by Etgar Keret’s short story, the physical comedy of Buster Keaton and the madcap absurdity of Looney Tunes, Single Shoe Productions create a fusion of silent film nostalgia and cartoon antics.

The captivating cast of two blend vocal sound effects, quirky humour and an evocative 1930’s soundtrack to reveal the crazy, sticky, messy side of marriage.

Crazy Glue is a universally accessible show guaranteed to enchant all ages and nationalities.

Founded in 2011, Single Shoe Productions combines theatre, circus, dance, and film into stories that are intercultural, inventive and playful.

Tickets are priced £10 and can be purchased by calling the box office on 01933 270 007 or online at www.thecastle.org.uk.
