Corinna Jane will be celebrating the release of her new single with a hometown gig this weekend.
The singer songwriter released Floodlights earlier this month and has been playing across the country supporting Marina Celeste and Blackbeard’s Tea Party.
Floodlights has become a firm favourite on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 Music show and on the BBC Introducing Mixtape.
Taken from her debut album which is due to be released later this year, it see Jane combine an array of influences with her own dynamic style to produce a soaring, future pop-song with encapsulating hooks, echoing the dramatics of Tori Amos and Kate Bush.
Fed on a diet of 90s MTV, German born Corinna Jane fuelled her passion for music with hearty servings of piano, guitar and singing lessons as early as five years, going on become a prolific singer-songwriter by her teens.
She plays Moulton Theatre in Northampton on Saturday, March 26. Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £10. Visit www.corinnajane.com
