Taylor is greatly influenced by the work of Django Reinhardt - he toured and performed with Django’s musical partner Stéphane Grappelli for 11 years.

In 2012, Guy Barker translated themes created by Taylor into an orchestral suite, The Spirit Of Django, that was performed at the BBC Proms.

Martin Taylor headlines the Wavendon venue on Tuesday, October 25.
