Fox Chapel launch single with Northampton show

The Northampton ‘alternative dream noise’ quartet, release Ice Cream the same day via Northampton’s Stalkers Records.

Fox Chapel comprise of singer and guitarist Kailan Price, drummer Joel Daw, bassist Jonny Longland and guitarist Calam Wright.

Ice Cream follows the EP Frames which was released last year and also features the track Dead Flowers which premiered on DIY on Friday.

Speaking about the track, Price said: “Ice cream is about the struggle of drug addiction.

“I guess it’s nostalgic to 80s post punk which has always been an influence.”

Fox Chapel released their debut single Imagery in 2014 with No Healing following in 2015. They headline the Northampton venue on Friday, October 21. Support is by Ginger Snaps and Honey Lung.

Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £3 in advance for £4 on the door. The following day, the band head to The Shacklewell Arms in London. Visit www.foxchapelmusic.co.uk
