For those in search of a good laugh, an evening of comedy entertainment will be staged at the Northampton Saints Rugby Club on Thursday.
The audience can chuckle away their winter blues on January 31 with the help of three top comedians.
Danny Buckler, who is known for his magic as well as stand-up skills and improvisation, will be the host comedian.
The opening comedian will be Pierre Hollins, whose act is enhanced by the invention of an electric squash racket, which allows him to fulfil every wannabe rock star’s dream, and then destroy it.
The headline act will be Junior Simpson, who has appeared on TV programmes such as the Armstrong & Miller Show.
Known as an observational comedian, Simpson finds his humour in the everyday experiences of his travels as a comedian.
The event, at Franklin’s Gardens, in Weedon Road, is for over-18s only. Tickets cost £16. Doors open at 7.15pm and the show time is 8.30pm. For more info, call the box office on 01604 581000 or log on to www.thecomedyclub.co.uk
