Here's a novel way of travelling through the streets of Northampton - by boat!
This stunning video footage was sent in by Chron reader David Dodkins from Germany.

Mr Dodkins, who used to run Dodkins Transport in Brixworth, moved to Berlin several years ago but on Good Friday, 1998, he was living in Abbey Road, Far Cotton.

The 60-year-old, who is now retired, said: "We missed the floodwater by about 10 feet so I was very lucky.

"On the day of the flood we were travelling up to the Lake District - we were using an amphibian vehicle which you can drive on dry land or in water - it was a one-off called the Antibus.

"I filmed the whole thing on an old Canon camera and only just copied it to DVD. It's turned out quite well."

With a sense of irony, his video clip ends with a shot of the Northampton sub-aqua club!
