SATURDAY
Northants Natural History Society: A walk around Abington Park and the church fete. Meet at 1.55pm at the church. Details on 01604 639350.
Northampton Outdoor Group: A five-mile circular walk from Grendon. Meet 4pm at the
parish church; walk via Easton Maudit and back to The Half Moon. Details on 01604 768834.

Northampton Ramblers: Half-day walk starts 2pm from The Butcher's Arms, Greens Norton. Details on 01604 403060.

Ramblers, Northampton and District Group: Afternoon walk of 5.5 miles. Starts 2pm from Sulgrave Church. Details on 01604 756184.

Ramblers, Wellingborough and District Group: A 12-mile circular from Saddington. Meet 1pm at The Queen's Head, Saddington. Details on 0116 279 2947.

Ramblers, Kettering Area Group: The Three Shires Way, Yelden, nine miles. Meet near the public house at 10am. Details on 01832 273170.

Kettering and District Rambling Group: Rothwell figure-of-eight walk of seven miles in the morning and three miles in the afternoon. Details on 01536 510425.

SUNDAY
Ramblers, Northampton and District Group: Circular day walk of 11 miles. Meet at Campbell Square car park, The Mounts at 8.50am or meet leader for 9.30am start from Brampton Valley Way, free car park between Maidwell and Draughton. No dogs please. A few stiles. Details on 01604 760343.

Ramblers, Wellingborough and District Group: Six-mile circular from Cranford St John. Meet at 10am in Main Street. Details on 01933 623745.

Higham Ferrers Footpath Group: A 10-mile walk around Hargrave, Old Meadow, Raunds and New Covert. Meet at 9.40am at Higham Ferrers market square or 10am at Hargrave Church. Details on 01933 358223.

Ramblers, Kettering Area Group: Nene Valley Railway Walk of 10 miles. Meet at Wansford Station, Sibbertoft to catch 11am steam train. Train journey/museum cost £8. Booking recommended on 01733 844536.

Kettering Guided Walk: A stroll round the town centre seeing how the town's history can be discovered through its street names. Meet at the Manor House at 2.15pm. Walk tickets cost £2.50 for adults plus concessions, available on the day at start of walk or in advance from Tourist Information Centre.

Waendel Walkers Club: Choice of six or 12 miles from The Black Horse, Nassington from10am onwards. Details on 01933 317912.
