Trouble in Pantoland

This year Irchester Players have chosen something a little different with this tale featuring a host of favourite characters from different pantos. The 40-strong cast is directed by Ian Southon, with Lianne Black as choreographer and Dinah Stephenson as musical director. It stars Ann Chambers as the Wicked Queen, Ian Draisey as the Wizard and Dan Wainwright as Dame Widow Twankey, with Richard Audry as Prince William.
Performances are 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are £6 (£4 concessions) on 01933 624310.

Pinocchio
Masque Theatre, Barton Seagrave

Kettering United Theatre Group returns to the Masque to present this children's favourite about a puppet who dreams of being a boy. The bumper cast of 50 eight to 18-year-olds is again directed and choreographed by Marilyn Knight, with Claire Lewis as musical director.
The title role is played by Megan Linnell, with Amber Hockridge as Gepetto and Faryl Smith as Gianetta. Sisters Bethany and Sheena Hamilton play Charlie Cricket and Mama Macaroni, with Rebecca Watson-Wynn as the Fairy.
Performances are 7pm from Tuesday to Friday and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday. Tickets are £7 (£6 concessions) on 07804 628361.

Sleeping Beauty – The True Story
Geddington Village Hall

A new version of this classic story has been written by Geddington resident Cynthia Bishop for Geddington Parents Association's panto.
Carol Bishop will direct and produce the family show, with Robert Toseland taking the ever-popular role of panto dame.
Shows take place nightly at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Mother Goose
The Lighthouse, Kettering Conference Centre
Wednesday to Saturday, March 5 to 8
Presented by Kettering Youth Theatre Group, this will be the first performance at the new theatre for the organisation which gave the last show at the McKinlay Theatre before it closed.
Mother Goose will be played by Ben Jervis, Billy Goose by Heather Lindley, Priscilla the Goose by Emily Darling and the Demon of Discontent by Emily Wright. The show will be produced and directed by Julie Brown, assisted by Kim Bellamy.
Tickets are £8.50 (balcony) and £7.50 (stalls) with a £1 reduction for children and concessions.
