Rising West End sensation Louise Dearman, who grew up in Leighton Buzzard, is now treading the boards at Milton Keynes Theatre in Evita, after previously working as front of house staff at the same venue.
She is starring as one of the most iconic female leading roles in musical theatre history – Eva Peron in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's memorable masterpiece.

With more than 20 major awards to its credit, including an Oscar for the film versio
n starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, this brand new production of the smash hit show is currently in Milton Keynes until October 11.

Louise plays the extraordinary Eva, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, who, from young and ambitious beginnings, gained enormous wealth and power during her ultimate rise to sainthood.

Louise's musical theatre credits include Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease and Kiss Me Kate and she also starred at Milton Keynes Theatre alongside Samantha Janus and Alex Ferns in the smash-hit run of Guys and Dolls last year.

Joining Louise on stage in the role of Che is Seamus Cullen, popular finalist from the hit BBC TV programme Any Dream Will Do, Mark Heenehan as Juan Peron, whose film credits include The Road to Damascus, Spy Game and Thunderpants and newcomer James Waud as Magaldi. James was picked from over 100 hopefuls who entered a casting call to find the perfect all-round performer for the role.

Evita features some of the most famous classic songs including Don't Cry For Me Argentina, Oh What A Circus, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and High Flying Adored.

The performances are at 7.30pm Monday to Saturday with a 2.30pm matinee on Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are priced £12 to £32. Call the box office on 0870 060 6652 or visit www.miltonkeynestheatre.com.
