Paul Hill, Jamie Gibson, Ben Nutley and Adam Parkins have also committed their future to the club.

Wood has become a key member of the Saints squad since joining from Worcester Warriors in 2010 and the 29-year-old was recently handed the role of club captain for the season ahead.

Current players’ and supporters’ player of the year Harrison and tighthead prop Hill are two of England’s brightest prospects, with both having broken into the national side last season.

Gibson became a key member of the Saints starting 15 after joining from Leicester Tigers during the summer of 2015, while Nutley enjoyed a fine end to the previous campaign.

And Parkins will provide valuable cover at prop during what will be another busy season at the Gardens.

Director of rugby Jim Mallinder is happy to have got the deals done before the season begins in September.
