Things get no easier for struggling Bones
Rothwell Town might be forgiven for having the look of a pummelled boxer ahead of their trip to Sutton Coldfield Town in BGB Southern League Division One Midlands.
The Bones were left down and out in midweek as they were battered 8-0 at Bury Town.
And the prospect of now travelling to another promotion contender tomorrow is hardly one to fill them with joy.
Bur far from worrying about the game, Bones boss Rob Dunion is looking forward to the challenge.
"What needed to be said about midweek has been said and now we all need to move on," he said.
"At least we haven't got to play Bury again this season and if they do go up, we can say we have greatly helped their cause!
"What's important now is how my players respond and if they aren't looking to bounce back with a good display tomorrow, then there is something wrong with them."
Sutton are in good form having won six of their last seven, including a superb 3-0 win at runaway leaders Leamington.
But their home record is mixed with eight wins but also six defeats. Moreover, Rothwell held them to a draw when the sides first met at Cecil Street.
"At the end of the day, the defeat at Bury was still only one game that we lost which would have been the case if we'd only conceded one on the night," he said.
"The strange thing was, we actually played very well and competed well until we had a man sent off which made things more difficult.
"We're still on course to achieve our survival target, just with a worse goal-difference, although I don't think that will come into play in the end."
Dunion has also strengthened his goalkeeping options by signing Stuart Dorrill from Kettering Town. The youngster had been on the bench a number of times for the Poppies this season.
David Glass and Fazel Koriya are also back after missing the Bury game.
Rothwell from: Allan, Dorrill, Hackett, White, Maddox, Glass, Underwood, F Koriya, Medine, Flannigan, Boyle-Chong, Byrne, Goodall, Locklin, McIlwain, Pownell.
