Scarlets impressed with ex-Saints wing Lamont
Former Northampton Saints winger Sean Lamont made a good early impression when he began life as a Scarlet.
The Scotland international met his new team-mates for the first time yesterday when the Scarlets started preparing for next season.
Head coach Nigel Davies says Lamont will be a smash hit at the West Wales region.
"I think he'll prove a great signing for us, a player our fans will enjoy watching," said Davies.
"He is a wing we have long admired. He is a prolific try-scorer who defends well, always looks for work and packs the power to cause defences problems.
"He is an experienced player who will add value to what we do at the Scarlets."
