Saints start season on a Sunday

Saints will kick-off the new Aviva Premiership season on a Sunday,Premiership Rugby has confirmed.

Jim Mallinder's men will face east midlands rivals Leicester Tigers at 3pm on Sunday, September 5 at Franklin's Gardens.

The game will be shown live on Sky and is one of five Saints games to be shown live on TV inside the first two months of the season.
