Saints will start the new Aviva Premiership season with a home game against Bath on Saturday, September 3 (kick-off 3.30pm).

And their first away clash of the campaign will be an intriguing tussle with newly-promoted Bristol, who possess a few former Saints players, including Jon Fisher.

Those matches form part of a tough opening six games before the league takes a break for European action.

Following the battle at Bristol, Saints face a trip to Saracens, home games against Wasps and Exeter Chiefs and a match at Harlequins.

The first east midlands derby of the season comes at Welford Road on the weekend of December 3, with the return leg at Franklin’s Gardens on the weekend of March 25.

Saints’ festive fixtures will be a home game against Sale Sharks on December 23/24 or Boxing Day and a trip to Gloucester on December 30, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.

Jim Mallinder’s men will conclude the season with a home game against Harlequins on the weekend of May 6.
