Saints lock Mark Sorenson says he’s looking forward to a new challenge – after agreeing to sign for Bristol.
The 33-year-old, who joined Northampton from Newcastle in 2010, will move to the Championship side this summer.
He has been a steady presence in the Saints second row since moving to Franklin’s Gardens, making 43 appearances to date.
But the former Bay of Plenty forward is now excited about what lies ahead at The Memorial Ground.
“It’s a new challenge for me to join Bristol,” said Sorenson. “I still hold a lot of aspirations as a player, so I wanted to join a club that was moving forward.
“It’s an exciting time to be here and I’m looking forward to playing my part and helping the club progress.”
