Saints are set to welcome back a trio of international stars ahead of their game at Sale on Friday.

Forwards coach Dorian West believes key men Ben Foden, Dylan Hartley and George Pisi will be available for the trip to the Salford City Stadium.

Pisi returns from international duty with Samoa, the highlight of which saw him score an acrobatic try to down Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

Saints captain Hartley is on the road to recovery from a knee injury picked up in the game against Saracens last month, while Foden is back in full training following an ankle ligament injury.

The England full-back last week targeted the game against the Premiership’s bottom side for his return and West is confident Foden won’t be the only man back in the fray.

“We are pretty hopeful that Dylan, Ben Foden and George Pisi will be available this week,” said West. “We need to be at our best to beat Sale.”
