Purcell to wear Cobblers No. 10 shirt
Tadhg Purcell has been handed the Cobblers No. 10 shirt for the coming season.
The striker, who joined on a free transfer this summer, will wear the number which was last season donned by terrace hero Adebayo Akinfenwa.
Purcell's probable strike partner Billy McKay will wear No.16, while, strangely, Andy Holt, who is likely to play at centre-back this season, will wear 11.
No-one has been allocated the No. 3 jersey, meaning it is open for Marcus Hall should he, as expected, complete his move to Sixfields.
Promising youngsters Charlie Death and Malachi Farquharson have not been given squad numbers.
