Northampton Town defender Collins says ‘We owe Dons one’
Collins was part of the Town team beaten 2-1 by the Dons in the Capital One Cup in the opening week of the season at Sixfields.
Karl Robinson’s side progressed into the next round thanks to goals from Ben Reeves and Jason Banton, but Collins felt they were lucky to claim the win.
“We owe them one,” said Collins.

“We are more than capable of going there and turning them over.”
Chris Hackett is also looking forward to the short trip south down the M1, and feels the match is the perfect opportunity to get Saturday’s frustrating 1-0 Sky Bet League Two defeat at Bristol Rovers out of their system.
“After you have had a defeat all players want to go out and play the next game and put things to bed,” said Hackett.

“The Dons game is a good game for us and a chance for us to get that winning mentality back that we had last season.”
More than 500 Cobblers fans will be at the game which kicks off at 7.45pm at stadium:mk.
As well as meeting in the Capital One Cup earlier this season, the Cobblers also hosted MK in the JPT a year ago, winning 1-0 at Sixfields thanks to a Jake Robinson goal.
