Manchester United star in line to face Cobblers
Peterborough United are set to sign Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson in time for him to play in the big League One derby at Sixfields next week.
Posh manager Darren Ferguson has revealed that he is back in the hunt for the 20-year-old.
He plans to move when the transfer loan market opens next week to sign the player in time to play against Northampton Town on September 13.
Gibson has yet to break into the United first team, but played 21 games on loan at Wolves in the Championship last season.
He scored a spectacular long-range goal against Posh for United in a summer pre-season friendly between the teams.
