SUNDAY COMBINATION: Matt and Denham deliver final place

Matt Thornber and Denham Salmon delivered as Hardingstone Sun beat Northampton Sovereigns 2-1 to move into the final of the NTFA Chronicle & Echo Cup.

In the Captains Cup, Robert Allen hit a hat-trick to help Eastern Eagles win 7-0 against AFC Hackleton Reserves.

Ryan Edwards, Peter Sweeney, Danny McIntyre and Will Berkshire were also on target.

In the premier division, Chris Davies doubled up in Standens Barn’s 5-3 win against Royals. Ashley Bradshaw, Nathan Burrows and Will Robins also registered for Barn.

Midshire Electrical beat St Margaret’s 6-3, with Ally Whitehead hitting four goals and Ian Giles two.

Ashley Eales scored four for Deers Leap as they won 5-2 at Dynamo.

Beau Bennett for the other Leap goal, with Shaun Miller and Sam Haase replying for Dynamo. Nathaniel Ansu netted five times as Golden Horse beat Sporting Sapphire 7-2. Craig Fowkes and Louis Lines also struck for Horse.
