Hornby gets reserve team run-out as Cobblers win at Dons
The midfielder, who has not played first-team football since the 2013 play-off final, a period of 22 months, got in the final 20 minutes of the match.
Billy Bodin and Darren Carter were on target in the game, which also saw playing time for Shwan Jalal, Zander Diamond, John-Joe O’Toole, Ross Perry, Chris Hackett, Ivan Toney, and James Gray.

“Ross Perry got 90 minutes in and did really well. Most of the lads out there got the full 90, including Zander Diamond, and we were able to get 20 minutes of football into Lewis Hornby, which was pleasing.”
