Cobblers goalkeeper set for England debut

Cobblers goalkeeper Dean Snedker is set to make his international debut on Tuesday evening after being named in the England under-19s matchday squad for the game against Denmark.

Snedker is part of the Three Lions squad who will take on the Danes in a friendly at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium.

The youth-team graduate, who signed a three-year professional contact at Sixfields in August, is the only uncapped player in the squad as they plan for May’s Elite Qualifying Round in Belgium.

Snedker has made three first-team appearances for the Cobblers so far this season and is one of two scholars to sign professional deals, along with midfielder Lewis Hornby.
