The Cobblers have sold out their allocation of 6,216 tickets for next Tuesday’s FA Cup third-round replay at Milton Keynes Dons.
The winners of the tie at stadiummk will host Barclays Premier League champions Chelsea in the fourth round, a game that will be televised live on BBC1, and Chris Wilder’s men are certainly going to have an impressive backing as they try to set up that dream date.
There had been a hope that Milton Keynes may increase the Cobblers’ allocation if the need arose, but the Cobblers today confirmed that is not going to happen.
“We have had it re-confirmed to us today that 6,216 is our full and final allocation for this game,” read a club statement.
“Our entire allocation has now sold out.
