Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is among the four nominations for the Sky Bet League Two manager of the month award for November.
The Town boss is up against Oxford United’s Michael Appleton, Accrington Stanley’s John Coleman and Newport County’s John Sheridan, with the winner being announced on Friday.
Wilder steered the Cobblers to four wins out of four and a 100 per cent record in November, despite the off-field crisis that was threatening to engulf the club at the time, and they are now in the top three.
Home wins were achieved against Mansfield Town and Yeovil Town, and there were victories on the road at Notts County and Crawley Town.
Town also enjoyed an FA Cup first round win at league one high-flyers Coventry City.
Appleton’s record at Oxford saw the Kassam Stadium club claim 10 points from 12 as they went to the top of the table.
Coleman’s Accrington entertainers scored 10 goals and collected seven points from three games - two of them away - with a 3-2 win at Cambridge United being followed by a 5-1 win at York City.
Newport under Sheridan were unbeaten November, claiming six points from four games as they clawed their way out of the relegation places. They managed excellent draws at promotion-chasing Accrington and Oxford.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading manager Paul Lowery.
