Euan Murray out of Lions tour, says Geech
British Lions coach Ian McGeechan has confirmed that Northampton Saints prop Euan Murray will miss the rest of the tour.
Murray suffered a sprained ankle during a bruising 20-8 victory over the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.
McGeechan said at lunchtime today: "Unfotunately Euan has an ankle injury that will keep him out for the rest of the tour."
Ireland prop John Hayes has been called up to the squad as replacement for Murray, manager Gerald Davies has announced.
The team to play South Africa in the first Test in Durban on Saturday:
