Dunion is not pressing panic button just yet
Rothwell Town boss Rob Dunion refused to panic despite seeing his side concede a 90th-minute winner in this Zamaretto League game.
The Bones looked to have gained a point through Jason Turner's 84th- minute equaliser, but were caught napping as they conceded with time added on being played.
But Dunion, who's side have now lost seven straight games in Division One Midlands, was encouraged by what he saw from his team.
"Football has a habit of kicking you in the teeth," said Dunion.
"We switched off and we have been punished for it. But I was happy with the performance.
"I think one of the reasons why we switched off is because of our lack of fitness, because we have hardly played.
"Football is stop, start, stop, start, and you could see it in the players that it was taking its toll.
"We have had a horrendous run where we have played a lot of the top sides, but that is why they are at the top, because they go for 90 minutes."
Dunion is confident that his players are nearing match fitness however, and that they can start to put a run of positive results together.
"The performances have got better and it is definitely good to be playing games," added Dunion.
"We are playing regularly now and will start getting fitter. I am not panicking yet."
Dunion also praised the performance of goalscorer Jason Turner, who he says will be a key player between now and the end of the season.
